Prof Nizeyimana Jean

Professor Jean Nizeyimana is an accomplished lecturer, researcher, and project management specialist with advanced expertise in applying information and communication technologies to development initiatives. Holding a doctorate in ICTs applied to project management, he has been trained under distinguished academics and has cultivated a robust professional portfolio through collaborations with prominent international organizations, including UNIFEM, UNFPA, SNV, WHO, FAO, UNAIDS, World Vision, and CARTAS International.

His project experience is both diverse and impactful, encompassing the training of 200 women entrepreneurs in quick-impact project execution, capacity building for 75 executives in participatory planning methodologies (PIPO and MARP) for communal and institutional development plans, and the digital transformation of administrative processes, such as the computerization of baptismal records for a Catholic parish. Professor Nizeyimana currently focuses on leading complex consortium projects, networking initiatives (Joint Ventures), and public-private partnerships, particularly utilizing Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) models.

As a certified expert with World Vision, he facilitates training on the “Do No Harm” approach, ensuring project interventions are sensitive to local social, cultural, gender, and political contexts. His skills extend to multimedia and strategic communication, where he leverages digital tools for training, documentation, and producing compelling project impact reports.

Professor Nizeyimana has launched several newspapers and magazines, and has contributed to print media, radio (Connais ceci pour prepare ton future, a weekly program on community radio stations, Program on innovation and distance learning on Radios Neno la Uzima and Le Messager in the DRC and electronic media .
