DR. MESHI MARCELLINE
Dr. Meshi Marcelline is a dedicated and versatile lecturer with over fourteen years of experience in higher education, specializing in communications, pedagogy, and online instruction. Based in Douala, Cameroon, she is a bilingual academic professional (French and English) passionate about mentoring students and employing diverse teaching methodologies to foster learning from the bachelor’s to the master’s level.
Her teaching portfolio spans both international and local institutions. She has served as an Online Instructor at the University of the People, where she facilitated courses, moderated discussion forums, assessed student work, and upheld academic integrity standards. Concurrently, she instructs in the Department of Psycho-Pedagogy and Sciences of Education at the Higher Institute of Business, applying her expertise in educational communication and student engagement in a digital learning environment.
Dr. Meshi’s academic foundation is robust, anchored by a Ph.D. in Communication of Organisations from the University of Douala, which she earned in 2023. This advanced research builds upon her earlier Master’s degree in the same field and a Bachelor of Science in Communication. Her scholarly work addresses critical societal issues, as evidenced by her research on health communication in public hospitals, crisis communication in secondary education, and strategies for female entrepreneurs in Douala.
Complementing her communications expertise, she holds professional qualifications that enrich her pedagogical approach, including a Teacher’s Grade One Certificate (CAPIEMP) and a Nursing Aid Diploma, reflecting a well-rounded perspective on education and community welfare.
An active member of the academic community, Dr. Meshi contributes as an executive member of the Communication Analysis Laboratory (LACOCOM) at the University of Douala and is part of the Innovation Association for Christian Educators in Cameroon (IACEC). Proficient in educational technology and standard office software, she is a resilient, industrious, and student-centered educator committed to achieving academic excellence and inspiring the next generation of professionals in Cameroon and beyond.
